China’s dancing humanoids are being written into urban assault plans

Two days after Beijing’s World Humanoid Robot Games, the PLA Daily told researchers to move lab tech onto training grounds for robotic “combatants.” Reuters found military papers modeling six combat robots clearing a building floor by floor, tenders for humanoids and perception systems, and Norinco’s Fuxi robot pitched for sentry and recon. LG TVs were caught logging audio with the screen off and mapping the house
The TV with the screen off was still taking attendance of every phone in the house.
Researchers testing retail LG OLEDs (including the G5) found the sets scanning home networks for phones and watches, capturing microphone audio in standby, logging voice prompts in plain text, and uploading stored audio once reconnected.
