At the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, Tiangong Ultra ran 100m in 9.39 seconds — faster than Usain Bolt’s 9.58 human record. Honor’s Lightning hit 9.47. Both then slammed into the stopping mat; one was carried off on a stretcher. Last year’s winning time was 21.50 seconds. More than 2,000 robots from 666 teams are competing through Wednesday.

Hollywood is getting paid to teach AI how to take the job
They’re not being replaced yet. They’re on the payroll that writes the replacement.
Award-winning writers, directors, and producers are taking $12–$200/hour gigs teaching models how to write scripts, build pitch decks, and schedule shoots — work they would rather be hired to do. One documentary director called it “being handed a shovel and asked to dig the grave of my profession.” Production days in L.A. are down sharply; Netflix said it used AI in 300 of 1,000 titles this year.

A builder joked-Googled “ThirteenLabs” after ElevenLabs and TwelveLabs, then kept going. Most integers from 0–99 now have a “_ Labs,” many of them AI. The page is a directory of a naming virus: the future is being incorporated as a sequential product SKU.

A nameless model showed up on OpenRouter and may keep every prompt
The smartest thing you used this week might not have a name — and it might keep the chat.
A free “stealth” reasoning model with a 1M-token window, multimodal input, and huge preview capacity appeared on OpenRouter with no company name. Developers are using it; independent writeups say serving-layer fingerprints look like Zhipu’s GLM stack. Separate reporting flags that the anonymous operator’s data-retention rules are unclear — including whether every prompt is kept. No lab has claimed it.
