Gemini 4 Argon watched a human play cornhole — then a humanoid sank seven

“They showed the model a video of a guy playing cornhole. The robot made seven in a row.”

The Story

With Gemini 4 Argon’s public rollout on Oct. 13, Google showed a Video-to-Sim-to-Real pipeline: Argon watches human video (or even a pen sketch), builds a MuJoCo physics twin, and transfers the skill. In one internal test, Apptronik’s Apollo 2 humanoid sank seven consecutive cornhole shots after Argon watched a person throw. Other demos: Spot learning a foot-pedal trash can, a sketch of a throw becoming a verified whole-body trajectory.

Why It Matters

YouTube is now a robot gym. Ordinary video (and napkin sketches) become infinite physical training data. The near future is a humanoid that learned backyard games the way models learned language.
