Instagram Will Starve Unlabeled AI “People” of Reach

The Story
Instagram renamed its “AI creator” label to “AI-generated profile” for accounts whose featured person is AI-generated rather than human, and said it will limit reach for unlabeled ones. Human creators using AI tools for edits or graphics do not need the label.
Why It Matters
Platforms now enforce “is this a real person?” as an account attribute.
